What’s so wrong with asexuals being included in the Travor Project…? Why would anyone be against availability of suicide prevention measures….?
I see anger about it from both sides, but I’ve not seen any actual arguments for or against it.
I have nothing against support for asexual people, but I’ve seen a strong prevailing opinion that the reason asexual people are likely to commit suicide is that they are repressing their sexual urges and that is unhealthy. I don’t know how much of it springs for ideologies within the people running the Trevor Project and how much it is coming from misinformed supporters of it, but it immediately makes me hesitant to go near it.
I could be wrong, though.
